Small tools, local by default
Docfy is an independent project building document utilities that do not ask you to upload anything.
Most "free online PDF tools" are free because the file is the product. Docfy takes the opposite approach: the tools run entirely in the browser, so there is nothing to collect and almost nothing to pay for.
The first tools are about metadata: seeing what a document or a photo says about you, and removing it. More privacy-first utilities are planned, one focused page at a time.

What Docfy does not do
- No file uploads, no storage, no accounts.
- No third-party scripts on the tool pages.
- No guarantees about metadata hidden inside page pixels — this is a metadata tool, not a redaction tool.
